Church Calendar of Events Update

Greetings everyone, on this hazy, hot and humid day.

We've made some changes to the Calendar on our web site this week, so we can better communicate our events to you.

• When you visit our site you will now find a quick reference ( "Events at a Glance") on the right hand side of your screen. You may click on any event to expand it and to view any additional information associated with that event (duration, location, etc).
  
• The main calendar page provides you with the current month's events, and you can of course move forward or back through the calendar to see what will be happening/has happened. You'll also find that you can print the calendar so you can take it with you, post it on your fridge or provide it to a friend.
• If you are a user of Google Calendar, you can have Good Shepherd's calendar appear within your own, and it will be updated automatically as we make changes. How convenient! Just go to the Add a friend's calendar field (in the calendar list to the left of your Google Calendar), and paste in our calendar ID: qtjdjhmuef92p4elpqpgesnsjo@group.calendar.google.com

How well the calendar works depends on all of you! If you have an event that was just organized, if your event has been canceled, or the time/date has changed, please contact anyone on the Communications Committee or Donna Ashely in the office, and provide us with the details. We'll get it posted right away.

The traditional print calendar (in our newsletter, etc) will remain in its current format for now, but be sure to check the website for the most up-to-date information.
